After missing my pilates class by a grand total of 5 minutes, I threw the idea of the gym into the bin, and decided to go shopping instead. So what'd I buy? Pjs. And vodka. I am now located on the couch, where I've been since 9pm, wallowing in self pity. Warning to self: not safe to drink alone when you're feeling down already. It was really not a good idea.

Pale pink Sussans waffle pj top
Blue Bonds ankle socks

So I may or may not have just gotten back from a first date "thing". Well, at least it was better than the last one I went on.
Angels & Demons was just as...odd the second time round. So very different to the book, but they didn't do a bad job.
And yes, after much deliberation I have decided to continue with this blog...for now. See how I go I guess.

the time for sleep is now...it's nothing to cry about

Yes, it's been well over a month since I last blogged. Yet I still don't feel any different. I thought that maybe a break from blogging would help me sort my head out, but it just hasn't happened. So much has happened over the past month...the boy is now the ex boy, and the close friend I picked up from the airport at 7am and I are no longer friends. So much else has happened, but I think I may slowly let it out rather than bombard you with every little excruciating detail. BUT I did see Death Cab for Cutie on Sunday night at the Thebbie. Was a fantastic night spent with great people and one of my favourite bands.
On a happier note, I am leaving for Sydney on Thursday to visit one of my best friends. I haven't seen him in almost a year so it will be nice to catch up finally!

First of all, I promise a proper post will follow soon.
I think the combination of the festive season, summer, being in the pool and my mum being on holidays are the reasons behind the lack of Tabitha making blog posts.
Had to wake up at 5:30am today...going to the airport to get a close friend who arrives at 7:15. Yipee.
The point behind this post, however, is that at 5:30 this morning it was already 28 degrees. Yeah, pretty sure it'll be over 41 today. Just a guess.

and so this is christmas....
Spotted:
Dearest readers, my apologies for lack of posting. The Christmas rush, as I like to call it, has literally swept me off my feet. I've been running from shop to shop for the past fortnight, not only for myself but for my parents as well. With over 30 people to buy for this year, I'm sure you'll understand why there has been a lack of posts coming from me.
My plans for Christmas...well as per usual it's very busy and non-stop. Christmas started last Saturday, a family dinner with my dads sisters and my cousins. Tonight, Christmas Eve, was the usual dinner with my mums dad and sister, probably my most enjoyed Christmas event. Tomorrow morning will see breakfast at 830am with my mum, dad, and one of my close friends, followed by drinks at 10 with my mums best friend. Lunch begins around 11am at my mums sisters place, a family gathering of around 20 people from my nannas side of the family. Home for a quick change, and then off to dinner with my dads family.
There will be a lack of posts over the weekend, as Friday morning I am off to Sydney (730am flight...) to visit my step sister and nephews. Will return Sunday, which will hopefully mean a post on Mondayish...
Soundtrack:
Happy Christmas (War is Over) - John Lennon

Another year over
And a new one just begun"
And with that I bid you goodnight.
Happy Christmas!

So before I do a proper post (later tonight or tomorrow - promise) I thought I'd ask for your help in deciding what I should wear tonight. Am going to dinner with "whatever-you-want-to-call-him". Not entirely sure where, but probably somewhere casual-ish.

Red Vest
Steve Madden red pumps
What do you think? Am leaning more towards the shorts/vest combo, but not 100% convinced yet. Advice is appreciated!

it's making me crazy...everytime i look around...
Spotted
Well, it's been another long hiatus on my part. Things should get back to some form of normality soon, and the daily posts shall return! I shan't make any excuses as to why I haven't been a regular blogger, we'll just put it down to sheer lack of motivation.
However, the weekend was yet again a non-event. The run down is as follows:
Friday night - Helped mum with a bit of Christmas shopping, and had dinner with parents and my nonno (mum's dad) at Gauchos on Gouger Street (Yes, you can now safely assume that I'm an Adelaidean).
Saturday/Saturday night - Worked all day Saturday with my screaming 3 year olds and crying babies. Spent Saturday night at whatever-you-want-to-call-him's place.
Sunday/Sunday night - Didn't wake up until 11-ish today, ended up going straight into town while whatever-you-want-to-call-him went surfing. Caught up with a friend for lunch and a spot of shopping, where I bought an amazing new maxi-dress from a new favourite shop. And tonight, was meant to catch up with whatever-you-want-to-call-him for dinner, but we both ended up having to go to family dinners.
You may be wondering why I keep mentioning "whatever-you-want-to-call-him". Basically, we've been dating for a little over 2 months, but are yet to define what we are to one another. As my last post revealed, we did have the bf/gf conversation...only he was rather intoxicated and doesn't remember how we got home, let alone the conversations we had whilst waiting for transport. Any suggestions as to what I can call him until I can label him "boy"? Or any advice as to what to do to remedy this situation? I feel the need for definition, but honestly have no idea what to do.
